Tracey died in December 2009 aged 41, four years after she was 1st diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Tracey loved life and lived it to the full, even when she was ill. She was my best friend and an inspiration to everyone that knew her, we all loved her. With my husband Dan, who is a photographer, we started raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action in 2008 by selling pin badges, collecting donations and fundraising at Dan's Open Studio weekends. Tracey then wrote a moving article about her illness which was published in the Spring 2009 edition of the Ovarian Cancer Action newsletter magazine. The Love Women Tribute Fund will help keep Tracey's memory and spirit alive and raise money to help others with this disease. Hopefully lots of you will share some special memories and light a candle, I will continue to try and raise money in Tracey's name and anyone else can too. I am delighted that Tracey's name will be among the 1st on the unveiling of the Tribute Wall at the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre. The message will read, Beautiful smile, Inspirational spirit, Treasured memories.
